Zendala Dare #23 & Paper

This week, Erin told us in her blog, The Bright Owl, that the Friday Dares will be moved to Saturdays.  I'm quite happy about that - I have time on the weekends to do these, and am usually zonked by Friday night! I really liked this week's template and found it to be a lot of fun!

Meer, Onamato, Paradox, Tipple

I also wanted to share a piece that I did last night, using an app on my iPad (Paper) - it's actually just the string that was done on the iPad, then I transferred the jpg of the string to my laptop & printed it. From there, I tangled it & voila!  Neat use of an app - thanks to my boyfriend for suggesting it!

Nightsbridge, Hibred, Nipa, Cadent, Betweed, Paradox, Tipple, Striping
Thanks for stopping by!

  5. Both lovely - especially well done shading! Your dare is really quite stunning, with interesting tangles - meer really works well in the circles.

  6. Your creations are beautiful! Yesterday I gave a workshop on Mandalas to a small group of calligraphers and mentioned tangling and Zendalas. I am hoping we can do some in the near future. If this happens, I will share with you, if I can work out how to post here. I also liked the centre of your Zendala very much and may have to ask if I can use it too.

    1. Thanks, Sue! That would be wonderful... if not, I can send you my e-mail address & maybe we can share that way (I have a book with some great mandalas in it, so I can send them to you - a happy trade!). As for the middle of the Zendala, please feel free to use it! It was a bit of an accident, really - thought I was going to leave it blank, added some lines, didn't like it, added some more, and loved it!

  8. I'd like to thank you for such an interesting zendala. I'm new at this and I see it is okay to repeat in more than one space and the results are great! Love the 'pearls' repeating.
