Diva Challenge #83 - Mooka and Assunta

Oh, Laura - challenge indeed!!  I love mooka, but have had real difficulty with assunta.  I'd decided to "skip" this week's challenge, but it's been niggling in the back of my mind all week. Of course, in seeing other people rise to the challenge (quite literally), I realized my reservations about assunta were fairly common.  So, my goal today was to power through it.... after going to buy some new school supplies, checking in at Michaels to get new Sakura pens, visiting a dollar store, enjoying the Teacher Appreciation Day at Staples, making lunch, doing laundry, playing FarmVille.... basically anything to help me avoid it!  I finally sat down and made myself do it.  I must say, I didn't find it as frustrating as I'd expected.  Just like usual, procrastinate, build it up in my mind, only to find out that it's not as bad as I thought :)  Challenge complete!

  2. Glad to see you did the challenge! Your tile is lovely. What grade do you teach? As you said to me I am a teacher on summer vacation, who has - a dog - instead of kids. Lol! Have a great school year!

    1. Thanks - it was your post that got the fire under me to get moving! I teach grade 8 - what do you teach? Isn't it a great profession? :)

  3. I'm still giggling over your post. Procrastination is my middle name; and almost always, when I finally "JUST DO IT", it isn't as bad as I thought. I think you did a great job with assunta. Not one of my favorite tangles either. Your mooka is quite lovely; and I'm happy to meet you "digitally".
