Challenge #64 - String Theory - Fortuneteller

I know exactly the little foldy devices that Laura Harms refers to when she says "fortunetellers".  We always called them "cootie-catchers". Never did quite figure out why!
This week's challenge has us dividing our square tile into 8 right-triangles.  I'm a geometric person by nature, so this appealed to me instantly!  In fact, I'd already done a similar one with paradox in which I'd added colour (I'm not quite there yet with the colour!).  The one I did this week includes some favourites, and a couple of tangles that I don't use too often - I think I may have used "shard" once before.

I also can't wait for the Zendalas!  I've already ordered mine from my local CZT (Chari-Lynn Reithmeier), and I'm hoping to get them this week. Here's a link to a previous blog that I posted about some full-page sized mandalas that I did over the summer: Mandala Enjoyment

  5. My goodness, could I even choose a favorite? The first one...well, I'm reminded of Superman. :) Love the soft colors in the 2nd. Diana

  7. Lovely, lovely, lovely. I really like how you delineated the sections by changing the color of the background. Nicely done.
