What a week this has been! Busy from start to finish, I've been tangling like crazy! Zentangle workshops on Monday meant 6 1/2 hours of Zentangle with students (which was AWESOME!), and as a result, I think I've started something at my school - the kids love it and it seems as though we might have a new "club" starting (all I need to do is beg school council for some money for tiles, and we'll be good to go!). So exciting to see them hard at work - their results were awesome!
After consultation with Chari-Lynn, I've found many new ways to share and display my tangles, and pretty soon, my apartment is going to be covered!! Fortunately, the bf likes them, so it's okay!!
AND, I've decided that some time in the near future (not this summer, but perhaps 2013), I hope to become a CZT :) I'm going to start saving now!!
This week's challenge was using a new tangle (courtesy of Mariet) called Golven. I like it! I've also been using Fricle a lot lately, and that one might be one of my all time faves. Love it :)
The border in golven is a wonderful way to use the pattern!
ReplyDeleteLove the combination with Fricle.
ReplyDeleteVery Beautiful!
I like the way you shaded along the zig zag, making it look like it's pressing down on a quilted surface. Love the simplicity of your design and the combination with fricle.
ReplyDeleteLike your Fricle. I have done it before, may try it now. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteLovely!
