Zendala Dare #68

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde - awesome idea for an additional challenge this week at The Bright Owl! I had a lot of fun with this one - the idea was to incorporate contrast of some sort.  I used a lot of my favourite tangles, however I varied them up so that there is a distinct difference from one side to the other.  I really like how it turned out - one side is delicate and light, the other is heavy and dark.  I only shaded the lighter side because I think the dark side was intense enough.

Anywho, lots of fun!  Thanks for stopping by :)

Paradox, Opus, Shattuck, Web, Zedbra

  2. Great contrast between the two sides. Nice job on the shading. Interesting that we both used Shattuck in the same place, but looks very different because of the way we each did ours.

  11. Very elegant and expressive. I almost like the fine line version better though both versions work well.

  13. Wow, great opposites. The white site looks so delicate and soft and nice, loving, and the dark site really looks bad and evil. Great outcome of the challenge in this dare.

  14. I really love the contrast here. Like Didisch said, the white is so soft and delicate and the dark gives that aura of intensity that comes with bad. Well done.

  15. Great idea, and I love how you have demonstrated that tangles can have such a different feel with thicker darker lines.... Nicely done!
