Zendala Dare #25

Another Zendala Dare!  I loved this template - the varying sizes of the pie slices gave it endless possibilities.  I used some favourites, and as I was completing this zendala, I realized that I really need to branch out!  My goal for next week is to use at least 2 patterns I haven't used in the last few months.  It's not like I don't know any other ones :)
Auraknot, Striping, Dragonair, Rain, Tipple

I also played a little with the "tornado" pattern that has been making its way around.  A great activity - here's a link showing how to do it: Tornado Line Design

  2. Love your Zendala Dare. It's beautiful. What you are calling "Tornado," I have also seen it called "Curvy Lines." There is a prompt on Tangles & Stuff to do this tangle. Just thought you'd like to know.

    1. I'll look up "curvy lines" - I think my students called it Tornado, so that's what I went with! Thanks :)

  6. Lovely zendala.
I don't know where the tornado design comes from, but I hope who ever is using it gives credit to art teacher Mr E: http://artwithmre.blogspot.be/2010/05/line-design-w-shading-steps.html
This is a project he uses in his art class!

  7. Both are beautiful! I tried the tornado one a couple of weeks ago and haven't seemed to catch the hang of making it look so good.

  8. I love the way tipple as the background behind striping makes my eyes see columns instead of the triangles. Neat use of rain too.
